Estimates from your inputs. Time value uses salary ÷ 2,080 working hours. The bigger payoff — PD dollars aimed at the right domains — is yours to count.

Unlimited teachers. Unlimited walkthroughs.

One annual price per school — no per-seat pricing, no device-count tracking. Teachers don’t need accounts, since they don’t use the app.

What administrators ask
before they buy

Does it really work without WiFi?

Yes — fully. All observations are saved directly on your device — no internet connection required. A small banner shows when you’re offline so there’s never a question about whether your data saved.

Is my teachers’ observation data private?

Observation records stay on your device unless you choose to export them. No teacher or student accounts are required. Optional K–3 assessment import temporarily processes a CSV on your device; imported student rows and scores are not saved. Only the confirmed instructional focus and completed walkthrough are saved. Keep student names, identifiers, and assessment scores out of free-text notes.

  • No advertising or tracking — no ads, no behavioral tracking, no third-party analytics, and your data is never sold or shared.
  • Device protection — all observations, teacher records, and settings are protected by your device security settings and never leave the device.
  • You control deletion — delete any record any time, or permanently wipe everything from Settings → Reset App Data. Export it all first if you like.

A Data Processing Agreement is available for district purchasing. See the full Privacy Policy →

Do my teachers need to do anything?

Teachers do not need accounts or an app installation. Named instructional leaders conduct walkthroughs and use the evidence for transparent, supportive coaching. Both annual plans include unlimited teachers and walkthroughs; the seat limit applies to the leaders using the app.

How do you enforce the named-user limit without an internet connection?

LiteracyLens verifies your school’s signed license file locally — school name, plan, and expiration — but it never phones home or counts devices across your network. Your plan’s named-user limit (2 on Building License, 5 on School License) is managed by your school’s designated License Administrator under the license agreement, the same way most schools already track software seats. Reassign a seat any time someone leaves or changes roles — the license follows named people, not devices, so a principal carrying both an iPhone and an iPad only uses one seat.

Can we pay with Title funds or a purchase order?

Purchase orders and invoicing are available. Your district determines whether a purchase meets the requirements of a particular grant or funding program. Contact info@sorvia.io for procurement materials.

What devices does it run on?

Designed for iPad walkthroughs — the split-view layout shows look-fors and your evidence notes side by side. Available on iPhone for quick capture when you’re moving fast between classrooms.

How does LiteracyLens complement our existing tools?

LiteracyLens complements your existing tools with reading-specific look-fors and evidence-based coaching. Use it alongside your current walkthrough process to focus on reading instruction.
